Liquor promo at Good Ole Reliable

This was not a good day for tasting. First, the store was all but dead. A total of about 50 people, only 20 of which sampled, came through the 3 hours I was there. And only 1 bottle was sold.

Second, there was not 1, but 2 other tastings at the same damn time. A few were already tipsy by the time they came to me. Others didn't want to mix tequila and vodka.

As loud as I am when promoting, the fact that its ice cream, one would think there would have been more sampling. I just don't get it. Its free ice cream. People need to tap into their inner child more. 🤷

Duties: Setup and breakdown event display. Track beginning and ending inventories. Push sales and educate consumers of new brand. End of day reporting and expense tracking.

This store was fully stocked. Too bad so many people declined a sample. It was early. But those who did taste, were happy and those who didn't buy now said they would buy later with regular grocery shopping.
